In the past few months, we’ve seen the European media linking several goalkeepers to Tottenham Hotspur, with the club looking for a replacement for Hugo Lloris.
It turns out that a new and interesting target now shows up in that list, and that’s Keylor Navias.
The story comes from French outlet Foot Mercato, who claims that the Paris Saint Germain player shouldn’t stay at the club for next season, and is unlikely to return to Nottingham Forest, where he’s been on loan since January.
Navas’ priority is said to stay in English football, and that’s where Tottenham get a mention.
Spurs are said to be one of the clubs who are looking for a starting goalkeeper and ‘could jump’ at the chance of signing Navas from PSG.
Tottenham, however, are not alone in that race, with Foot Mercato naming the likes of Brentford, Chelsea and Leicester City in the same situation.
The story claims that PSG would let Navas go in a transfer for ‘a handful of million Euros’. His big salary is also something that should weigh on his future.
