Two days ago, Mundo Deprotivo reported that Tottenham ‘might be interested’ in Barcelona winger Malcom, after several claims they very much are.

The La Liga winners were successful at beating AS Roma in signing him from Bordeaux in the summer and prior to his switch to Camp Nou, he was a target for several other clubs, according to today’s edition of Sport.

His limited playing time has seen him draw attention from technical leaders of top European sides and the report mentions that Tottenham Hotspur are the ‘most interested’ club in signing the Brazilian.

The Catalan newspaper claims many clubs view the 21-year-old as a player with ‘huge market opportunity’, if the wideman and his employer decide to end their association with each other.

So far, Ernesto Valverde’s side have no plans to sanction Malcom’s sale, but the north London club will continue to monitor him.

Barcelona paid €41m to the Ligue 1 side to acquire the services of the South American attacker and Tottenham are willing to pay a fee which would see the Blaugrana receive the money they invested in him.

For now, the leaders of Barca have confidence that Malcom will show his worth at the club, which is why there are no plans to part ways with him.
