KRC Genk’s Bilal El Khannouss has ended up on Tottenham Hotspur’s agenda, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The Belgian club signed the 19-year-old from Anderlecht for their academy in 2019, and he spent three years there before being promoted to the first team in 2022.

Since the start of the last season, the midfielder played 67 matches, managing four goals and seven assists, out of which three goals and two assists are from this season.

Corriere state his recent form has caught the attention of the Premier League sides and it includes Tottenham. It’s said there have been ‘manoeuvres’ from Spurs, to try to sign the Morocco international.

Back in February, the teenager signed a new contract until 2027. Genk’s ‘latest discovery’ could be the ‘valued piece of silverware’ for them and the report says €18m is the ‘starting price’.

At the same time, the newspaper makes it clear the Jupiler Pro League side haven’t made any promise or commitment to the player about a transfer.

For now, Tottenham have El Khannouss on their target list and have been told the starting price to sign him.

As well from Ange Postecoglou’s side, Corriere have also mentioned Liverpool as another interested party from England.
