Over the past two weeks, Manchester United and Newcastle United have been mentioned as suitors for Randal Kolo-Muani. Footmercato covered Tottenham’s interest in the striker yesterday and now, the same is reported in Italy.

TuttoSport report Juventus are struggling to sign the Frenchman due to Paris Saint-Germain’s €50m demand. The only compromise PSG are making is the allowance of an initial loan with the obligation to buy.

So far, Juve have only offered an option to buy and now, Tottenham have become attentive to the situation.

Thomas Frank’s side have made enquiries for the France international and this is a major threat to the Old Lady, who have seen alternative Rasmus Højlund commit to Manchester United publicly after impressing in a friendly against Bournemouth.

As a result, the newspaper claim that time is running out for Juve in the hunt for a new striker, amidst uncertainties around the future of Dusan Vlahovic.

While Tottenham could be interested in Kolo-Muani, the entire scenario feels like an attempt to put the Bianconeri under pressure to execute a deal quickly.

The 26-year-old has previously indicated that he only wants to stay at Juve and the club’s general director Damien Comolli also confirmed quite the same in an interview earlier this week.

Besides, TuttoSport do suggest that talks between PSG and the Italian side are ongoing to discuss the right terms for a loan deal. So unless something dramatic happens, Kolo-Muani could still end up in Turin.
