Having sacked José Mourinho in April, Tottenham Hotspur made it clear they will appoint a permanent successor to the Portuguese tactician after the end of the season.

Several candidates are linked with the Spurs job, and among them is Inter Milan’s title winning hero Antonio Conte, who left the San Siro earlier this week.

Two days ago, Corriere dello Sport explained the north London club are ‘crazy’ about the former Chelsea manager.

Sky Italia has a report detailing the Italian’s ‘situation’ and their title states that Conte has had ‘contacts with Real Madrid and Tottenham’.

Los Blancos are searching for a new manager after Zinedine Zidane’s exit from the club was confirmed on Thursday.

Conte is attracting attention from clubs outside Italy, so much so that the ‘first contacts’ with the La Liga side and Tottenham ‘have already started’.

Florentino Pérez has now turned his attention to the Italian after Massimiliano Allegri said ‘no’ to Real Madrid.

Spurs are ‘in the running’ for Conte, but they are considering bringing back Mauricio Pochettino who is currently at Paris Saint-Germain, back to the club.

Sky Italia also add PSG are looking at Conte, but they will only make an attempt if Pochettino leaves the French capital.
