Earlier this week, Radu Drăgușin’s agent insisted that Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in signing the Genoa star. The centre-back’s displays for the Serie A side have seen him attract interest from Italy and abroad.
Gianluca Di Marzio state Atalanta have their eyes on the defender and are willing to make an important investment of around €20m to acquire his signature.
Given that there’s interest from foreign clubs, ‘especially from Tottenham’, Genoa have set a starting price of €30m.
It’s claimed Spurs are ‘in pole position’ to secure the Romania international’s signature in January.
The defender has already expressed his desire to play in the Premier League and this benefits Ange Postecoglou’s side in the transfer race. Atalanta, for their part, are ‘quite far behind’ the north London club.
Calciomercato.it state Genoa would like to retain the former Juventus man until the end of the season.
It needs to be seen whether Tottenham will ‘present the right offer’ in the next few weeks, for the Italian club to give the green light for Drăgușin’s sale.
