Yesterday, it was reported that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in a potential move for AC Milan’s Noah Okafor.

More has now emerged, with the London club’s interest in the Switzerland forward again covered. He failed a medical ahead of a switch to RB Leipzig earlier this month, although the significance of that has been played down in Italy, as perhaps one would expect it to be.

TuttoSport have reported today that Tottenham’s move for the 24-year-old is in an ‘evaluation phase’.

MilanNews have added more, stating that Okafor is on the list of potential departures from the San Siro this month. Milan had offered the Switzerland international to Tottenham in the last few hours and are now waiting for their final response about the transfer.

The report states there is a possibility Spurs’ response about the versatile forward could arrive today. Reading between the lines, it would appear Milan are rather more keen than Tottenham and that Spurs are looking at other options first.

Okafor has not managed to impress everyone during his stint at the club, scoring seven times in 53 appearances. He’s failed to become a regular, having joined from RB Salzburg in the summer of 2023.
