Yesterday we covered claims from Turkey that West Ham United will send a scout to Istanbul this weekend to monitor Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi and Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama.
Today Takvim have backed up West Ham’s interest in the two players, and they also cover the scouting trip.
The Hammers have been linked with the forward since the last international break.
It’s reported scouts from Tottenham Hotspur will be present at the game on Sunday following reports they too are interested in the 25 year old. There have been claims Tottenham have been watching Muriqi play for his club and country this month.
Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Napoli, and Manchester United are expected to travel to Turkey on Sunday to get a lowdown on the player.
Despite only joining Fenerbahce in July, Muriqi has been linked with a move away from the club since the start of the season and his impressive performances have caught the eye with some of Europe’s major clubs.
The former Caykur Rizespor striker is under contract with Fenerbahce until June 2023.
