Unless Vincent Janssen leaves Tottenham before the end of the transfer window, bringing in a new striker makes little sense, yet claims from France have emerged stating the Premier League side are in talks about signing one.
According to Yahoo! Sport journalist Manu Lonjon, Spurs have met with the representatives of Celtic striker Moussa Dembélé twice over the past week.
The first time was apparently last week, during a gathering in London, while the second was over the past few days in Paris.

The 21-year-old is currently recovering from a hamstring injury, but that shouldn’t be a problem if a medical needed to take place.
Also a reported target for Marseille in France, the former Fulham starlet has been reported many times this summer as being happy at Celtic Park, but wouldn’t be against a move back to his home country if such an opportunity presented itself.
Considering he would be a first-team regular in the south of France, and already is in Scotland, would he be happy with playing second fiddle to Harry Kane?
We’ll have to wait and see.
