Following all the excitement of signing Lucas Bergvall from Djurgården, Tottenham fans may have forgotten they had also agreed a deal for Luka Vusković a few months earlier.
The 16-year-old will be arriving from Hajduk Split in the future, but cannot make the move until he turns 18, leaving Spurs with a wait and some decisions to make about his development until then.
Tipsbladet in Denmark bring some information on Friday, as they reveal that Tottenham tried to place the ‘great talent’ at AaB until the end of the season.
It’s explained the Danish side are managed by Germain investors from the SSEE22 group, led by former footballer Thomas Hitzlsperger, and through their network, managed to get in touch with Tottenham.
Spurs were ‘looking for a place’ for Vuskovic, which is why they ‘had talks’ with AaB about a potential loan to Denmark, as the club try to make it back to the top-tier.
However, the Danish side ‘did not make the cut’, and Tottenham decided to send Vuskovic to Radomiak in Poland, who play in the top division.
The 16-year-old will join Spurs in the summer of 2025, after the Premier League side spent €13.8m to secure his services.
