Tottenham Hotspur today show up as the main candidates to sign Gleison Bremer from Juventus.
The information is brought by Italian newspaper Tuttosport, who feature a story about the Old Lady’s potential departures this summer.
Even though it’s not the club’s focus to sell Bremer, they’re in need of money, and he’s one of those who could quickly provide that.
Tuttosport speak of the strength of the Premier League market, and one of the examples is Tottenham’s recent purchase of Dejan Kulusevski.
Then it’s claimed that Spurs are ‘in the front row’ to take Bremer from Juventus. Not that they’re in strong contacts for the signing, but because of the position they find themselves in.
It’s said Tottenham could soon lose Clement Lenglet and Davinson Sanchez, and willing to give their new manager a ‘quality replacement’, they’d go after a ‘young, but ready’ centre-back.
Bremer is said to be one of those on the lit, along with Marc Guehi, Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba.
Juventus may not be offering their centre-back around, but it’s claimed they’re ‘waiting for the right offer’ to consider selling him.
