VfB Stuttgart’s Chris Führich has ended up on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar, according to Bild journalist Christian Falk.

He took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to state that Tottenham are ‘fighting’ with Bayern Munich to sign the winger in the summer window.

The 26-year-old managed nine goals and seven assists from 39 games in the recently concluded season.

His performances helped him make his debut for Germany last October, and he’s made it to Julian Nagelsmann’s squad for the Euros.

Führich has also managed to attract interest from other clubs, including Tottenham and the Bavarian side, and they are set for a tussle in the summer window.

The Germany international’s deal lasts until 2028, and the journalist says it includes a €23.5m release clause, which should be affordable for Spurs.

Sky Deutschland had a chat with the player, and when they asked him about his future plans, he insisted that he wants to focus on the Euros.

“I don’t think about it much. I concentrate on the European Championships and always direct everything to my management. I don’t want to deal with that. It’s important for me to be on the pitch and enjoy myself,” he said.

When asked if it’s possible for him to continue at Stuttgart, Führich explained: “Yes! What we have achieved this year is something very special – for the club and for the fans. So yes, of course! Why shouldn’t it be imaginable?”

Stuttgart finished second in the league table, a point ahead of third placed Bayern.
