Everton youngster Isaac Price and Tottenham’s Romaine Mundle appear to be on their way to Belgium this summer, with both players recently spotted taking in games in the country.
That’s according to Voetbalkrant, who explain how Anderlecht and Standard Liege are ‘chasing the same player’ in Mundle.
Their interest was reported last week, with a report explaining Liege had been holding ongoing contacts about a potential transfer in the summer.
VK follow that up by saying the Rouches are ‘shorter on the ball’ for the player and have already invited the Tottenham man to Sclessin last weekend to watch the clash against Westerlo from the stands.
He’s already in negotiations with the club and was ‘charmed’ by a recent tour of the club’s facilities as well. According to their information, Mundle has refused to sign a new at Tottenham over a lack of playing time and a move to Standard is now on the cards.
The same can be said of Everton midfielder Price, who has ‘also been spotted’ at Sclessin as the club push to secure him as well.
A report last week indicated that he was ‘well on his way’ to joining Standard after turning down a contract renewal at Everton.
Like Mundle, he wants to be playing regularly and Standard can offer him that in Belgium and it was explained he had also been in Belgium with his parents ahead of the potential switch.
Voetbal Krant confirm as much, with him and Mundle seemingly on their way out of England in an attempt to give their careers a kickstart.
