Spanish outlet ABC has an interesting piece on the future of Real Madrid fullback Sergio Reguilón.

Following the player’s good loan spell at Sevilla, there are now several European sides who are interested in signing him.

One of these clubs is said to be Tottenham Hotspur, who according to ABC, ‘haven’t found in Ryan Sessegnon the fullback they wanted’.

Spurs are one of the ‘over ten’ clubs who’ve been in contact for the signing, in a competition which includes the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint Germain.

The interest has emerged ‘in recent weeks’.

However, Real Madrid are still not convinced of what to do with the player. It’s said Zinedine Zidane wants to check his progress during pre-season, and only then will he take a decision.

In case of selling him, it’s said Real Madrid will favour the offers which give them the chance of buying him back, something Tottenham may be reluctant about.

Sevilla have a big interest in keeping Reguilón, but with such a big competition, ABC doesn’t sound very confident that the club can succeed.
