Just like happened right after the World Cup last year, Sofyan Amrabat is back to being heavily linked with an exit from Fiorentina.
Italian newspaper La Nazione writes about it this weekend. Their story, relayed by Labaro Viola, mentions that Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs keen on signing the midfielder this summer.
It’s first made clear that Fiorentina won’t simply accept that Amrabat is leaving. They are only expected to sit and negotiate in case an offer worth at least €30m is placed on the table.
Tottenham are named as one of the clubs who got in touch with the player’s entourage, as well as the likes of Atlético Madrid and Bayern Munich. Barcelona, meanwhile, are labelled as a ‘credible and welcome’ destination, but are unlikely to enter an auction for the signing.
It’s not clear whether any of these clubs have already placed their offers for Amrabat, as it seems they’re all still making their first moves for the signing.
The story points out that the player already ‘hinted’ that he’ll leave Fiorentina this summer, and Tottenham are again said to be in the picture.
