Three days ago, we covered claims made by SportItalia journalist Gianluigi Longari that Juventus’ Radu Drăgușin has ‘received interest’ from Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

The defender’s current deal expires in the summer, which is encouraging rumours.

According to Calciomercato, RB Leipzig are ‘serious’ about the 18-year-old and have already ‘presented an offer’ to his agent, which is being evaluated from both an economic and sporting point of view.

Apart from Leipzig, the Premier League clubs are also chasing the centre-back and Tottenham have carried out ‘much more than a survey’ for the Romania U21 international.

Despite being on the radar of Leipzig, Tottenham and the Magpies, Juve remain confident of retaining the player beyond this season because of an earlier agreement reached with Drăgușin.

It’s claimed the Turin club will schedule a new meeting in the coming days with the Romanian’s camp to close the issue regarding his renewal.

Calciomercato, however, states ‘anything can happen’ until Drăgușin signs a new contract.

The defender made his first team debut for Juve against Dynamo Kyiv in December and has added one more appearance to his name, which came in the league against Genoa last month.
