Now that you’ve digested all that information, you’ll be interested to know that both Tottenham and Burnley are interested in his services.

The centre-back, who has had trials at both Manchester clubs and Ajax among others, was advised to go to Brazil in order to relaunch his European career down the line, which is exactly what has happened.

Signed by Santos right under Atlético Paranense’s nose after Pelé endorsed him, having watched some of his videos, Kingué’s versatility and performances with the club’s U23s has caught the eye of Burnley and Tottenham scouts.

According to Foot Mercato, both Spurs and the Clarets have kept an eye on his Santos games ‘regularly’, while Shakhtar Donetsk and an Italian club have also come knocking for more information.

However, if the Premier League sides want to sign him, they might have move quickly, as the French website explain the player’s entourage are currently in talks with a top five Ligue 1 side.
