Lutsharel Geertruida has been linked with a transfer for the past month or so, with it thought the 23-year-old is looking to leave Feyenoord and that his club are ready to negotiate a transfer.

Multiple Premier League sides have been linked, with Liverpool the subject of multiple stories. That’s largely due to Arne Slot moving from Feyenoord to Anfield this summer and obviously knowing the player well.

De Telegraaf, via Soccer News, report that Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool are all in the picture to sign the player this summer. He’s expected to be leaving the Eredivisie club, partly due to his contract situation.

With a deal expiring in June 2025, Feyenoord are under pressure, and it should mean Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool won’t have to pay over the odds.

That said, if there’s a battle between the three then the Dutch hope will be that an auction situation develops.

Lutsharel Geertruida is a very versatile defensive player, able to cover across the back four.
