AS Roma’s Matías Soulé is on the agenda of Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, according to claims from Italy.
A year ago, the attacking midfielder left Juventus for Roma on a permanent transfer and signed a contract until 2029. Last season, he mainly operated on the right wing, scoring five goals and registering five assists from 39 games.
According to Radio Radio, relayed by Tutto Juve, Tottenham and Aston Villa are ‘very interested’ in securing the 22-year-old’s services.
The Serie A side could sacrifice the player to raise funds to carry out new signings in this window.
Radio Radio reports the two English clubs are ready to offer €32m for the South American.
Roma agreed to pay €25.6m plus €4m in potential bonuses to Juventus to sign Soulé in July 2024. If they were to sell him to Tottenham or Aston Villa for €32m, they can make a capital gain.
Soulé rejected Fulham in the winter market, and there’s no mention whether he would be open to joining Tottenham or Aston Villa this summer.
