Tottenham are planning to make a move for KAA Gent striker Gift Orban once the deal taking Harry Kane to Bayern Munich is finalised.
That’s according to journalist Ignazio Genuardi, who say Tottenham are willing to offer €25-30m for the highly rated forward.
Kane appears to be on his way to Bayern imminently, with reports in England and Germany stating that Spurs have now accepted a bid for their record goal scorer.
The expectation is that he will move to join the German champions, leaving Tottenham with a huge hole in their forward line that they will need to fill with at least one new signing.
Genuardi says one of those signings could be Orban, with Tottenham planning to make a bid of €25-30m for the Gent striker once Kane has departed.
Orban was one of the stars of the show in Belgium last season, bagging 20 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions including five in six in the Europa Conference League.
He’s started this season in similar form, with five goals in three games to date, managing four in two in Europa Conference League qualifying and one in one in the Jupiler Pro League.
That’s seemingly not gone unnoticed by Tottenham, who are planning to make their move if Kane ends up moving as expected.
