Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidžić recently confirmed Jérôme Boateng will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of this season, which has led to a number of rumours.

Three days ago, Bild journalist Christian Falk reported the defender is included in Tottenham Hotspur’s list of targets as José Mourinho is looking to bolster his back four in the next market.

Apart from Spurs, Borussia Dortmund are also linked with the 32-year-old as Sportbuzzer reported BVB are interested in him.

Sky Deutschland reporter and transfer expert, Max Bielefeld, has dismissed Borussia Dortmund wanting to sign the centre-back, before revealing the one club that are genuinely after the German, who so happen to be Tottenham.

According to Bielefeld, Mourinho’s side have an ‘interest’ in Boateng, and ‘concrete talks’ have already taken place between the two parties.

That’s about the only information Bielefeld and Sky mention about Tottenham wanting to acquire the former Manchester City man’s services in the summer.

Boateng has 32 appearances to his name in all competitions for Bayern this season.
