The mystery of Clinton N’Jie’s transfer to Marseille is finally coming to end with Georges-Kevin N’Koudou also heading the other way.

Marseille had an agreement to sign N’Jie, on loan with an option to buy, and had even sent doctors to London to conduct medical examinations, but there were no further updates.

On Saturday, L’Equipe say N’Jie is expected in Marseille in the ‘coming hours’. It is reported N’Jie will sign a four-year contract next summer, if Marseille decide to sign him permanently.

The terms of the contract have already been fixed, and L’Equipe expect the transfer to be wrapped up soon.

L’Equipe don’t mention how much Marseille have to pay to make the deal permanent next summer in today’s report, but they earlier claimed it to be around €7m.

Needless to say, N’Jie will be delighted to put this all behind him and quickly join his new team.
