When Andre Onana was having a tough start at Manchester United, it seemed like the Red Devils did well in signing Altay Bayındır from Fenerbahçe.
The Red Devils spent €5m to bring him as an option to the squad, and there was a point where it looked like he might have some chances to prove himself at the club.
That didn’t happen, though, as he only made one appearance for Manchester United so far, and Turkish outlet Aspor now has something to say about his future.
Asport claims that the Manchester United player is keen on joining a club where he can have more chances to play, so that could be an attractive destination for him.
The controversial part here is that he used to belong to Galatasaray’s arch rivals Fenerbahçe, so we would have to see whether he shows any kind of loyalty to his former club.
Bayındır has a contract with Manchester United running until 2027, and is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €10m.
