Manchester United man quizzed over future

Speaking to Sabah, the Manchester United No.2 was asked if he will need to make a decision to leave Old Trafford.

The 27-year-old said it’s normal for a player to want to be involved all the time and that he wants more game time.

“I am a person who likes to play. I don’t know what I will experience in the future. It is very important for a football player to take the right step in his career. I would like to be on the field more. If a decision needs to be taken for this, we will take it. We will do whatever needs to be done. Time will show us everything,” said the Turkey international.

Despite his frustrations, Bayındır said it’s been a privilege to represent Manchester United. Highlighting the Turkish flag on Old Trafford’s roof, he said this has given him and his father a lot of pride.

“It is a source of pride that the Turkish flag is flying at Old Trafford. One of the biggest cities in England, and that I am the reason for it. In fact, a video was shot at that time. Then my father was very touched, he liked it very much, he was proud. I can’t describe it in words. Old Trafford is a historic stadium,” said Bayındır

Bayındır has decsion to make

The player has a decision to make this summer as it seems unlikely he will dislodge Lammens from Carrick’s stating eleven.

A return to Istanbul seems to be his best option, with Besiktas expected to make their move in the coming weeks.
