Fulham are back in the picture for Cédric Soares after having failed signing the Arsenal player in the summer transfer window.
The right-back has seen his game time restricted this season. He has seven appearances in all competitions to his name and it includes one start, which came in the Gunners’ EFL Cup defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Mikel Arteta has preferred Ben White ahead of the 31-year-old on the right side of the back four, but this has not stopped him from drawing attention from Fulham and a few other clubs.
Marco Silva managed Cédric when the paid were at Sporting and the manager ‘dreams’ of reuniting with the fullback at Fulham in January, and their idea is to sign him on loan with an obligation to buy.
It’s claimed the discussions between both Arsenal and Silva’s side should take place soon.
Fulham are not the only club on the lookout for the Arsenal player, as Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen are also keen to secure Cédric’s services in the winter market.
