As former Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa becomes a very wanted man in the market, the South American media continues to share some updates on the race to sign him.
It’s been over a week since Santos started being linked to the coach, and as reported by Brazilian outlet UOL, the Peixe continue to wait for a response from the 67-year-old.
“It’s hard, but we keep dreaming”, a source told the website, as Bielsa is conducting a deep study of the project before saying yes for a new meeting. For now, not even salaries have been discussed.
The interesting information in this latest story is that three other clubs are interested in the manager, who’s been unemployed since leaving Leeds United in February.
It’s claimed that those sides all made contact with him in recent days, and none of them are from South America.
Bielsa, however, didn’t gave a response to any of them. It’s said he ‘thanked and promised to evaluate’ the situations before answering the offers. According to UOL, the manager has ‘no rush’ to choose his next job after Leeds United.
