Thomas Tuchel wants AS Monaco midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni at Chelsea ‘at all costs’ as he looks to bolster his squad in the summer.

That’s according to MARCA, who say the Blues will have to pay between €80-100m for the highly-rated Frenchman.

The newspaper covers the player’s future today and how almost a year on, from rumours about a move to Real Madrid, the Monaco star remains highly sought after in Europe.

Real Madrid are keen on him as a replacement for Casemiro and have identified the ‘young and talented’ player as the ideal man to do it.

His performances for Monaco this season have only increased their interest in him, with the youngster voted the best in Ligue 1 and playing practically everything.

The ‘time for a change of scenery’ seems to have come, and that is because it is not only Madrid showing interest.

There are ‘tough competitors’ for the midfielder’s signature, all of them from the Premier League, with Chelsea and Manchester United the ‘best placed’ to secure his signature.

It is Chelsea who are ‘above all’, and they have ‘gone the furthest’ with his agent Jonathan Kébé, who also represents Joules Koundé, a player they pursued throughout the summer transfer window.

Monaco are now seemingly ready to do a deal for a top price, and with Tuchel wanting the player ‘at all costs’, those in charge at Stamford Bridge could offer it to them.
