Crystal Palace have their eyes set on Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Alassane Pléa for the summer window, according to Foot Mercato journalist Sébastien Denis.
Denis took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to state that Crystal Palace and Beşiktaş are ‘seriously considering’ signing the 32-year-old.
The striker has impressed for Gladbach this season, scoring 11 goals and registering six assists from 26 games.
Foot Mercato, via their website, share more on interest shown by Crystal Palace and other clubs. Their title says ‘things are starting to move’ for Pléa.
The France international has a contract until 2026, and the report states it has a release clause, without mentioning the figure.
Pléa’s performances have caught the attention of unnamed clubs from Ligue 1 and Saudi Arabia. Crystal Palace and Beşiktaş are also eyeing a move for him after this season.
His compatriot, Jean-Philippe Mateta, has been leading the Premier League club’s attack.
The report states the Eagles are monitoring the Bundesliga frontman and could ‘go on the offensive’, especially if Mateta were to leave Selhurst Park. Beşiktaş could also consider making an approach for the player as they like his profile.
If Pléa decides to leave the German club, he won’t be short of options in the next window.
