Nikola Milenkovic has turned into quite a successful signing for Nottingham Forest so far this season.
Whilst his last few seasons at Fiorentina weren’t promising, a change of scenery at Forest is again bringing the best out of him.
The 27-year-old has played six times in the Premier League and is slowly emerging as a reliable figure at the back, as he was before his drop in form with La Viola.
Despite Milenkovic’s last years at Fiorentina not being great, he still has a soft spot for the club and the city of Florence.
After Serbia’s games during this international break, he returned to Florence and was spotted having pictures with Viola fans.
FiorentinaNews say he didn’t make any comments with the outlet as he felt ‘in Nottingham they will be angry’.
The fact the centre-back didn’t want to say anything is perhaps a good sign for Forest as it seems their summer signing has a lot of respect for the club.
