Alex Valle spent some months on loan at Celtic before moving to Serie A side Como in the January transfer window.

The Hoops signed the full-back on a loan deal from Barcelona, with Valle playing 19 times in all competitions for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

He featured in 11 Premiership games and also racked up three assists, showing his qualities in the final third.

The left-back has already become a regular at Como, and he recently contributed in their 2-0 win over Fiorentina.

After the game, the 20-year-old was asked about his development and how the stints at Celtic and Barcelona helped him.

He said, as relayed by Tuttomercatoweb: “Both at Celtic and Barcelona I had top experiences with which I grew up and these help me in my weekly work.”

Speaking further about why his learnings from Celtic are proving important, Valle said:

“I think having personality is important, I see that in Serie A especially it is also important in man-to-man duels.”

While the youngster wasn’t quite a regular for the Glasgow giants, he had featured in his last two league games for the club.
