Largie Ramazani has now returned to English football, something he’s wanted to do for a while.
Leeds United broguth him back, four years after the player’s move from Manchester United to Almeria in Spain.
He’s developed whilst with the Rojiblancos and Leeds have signed the 23-year-old for a fee of around £11m.
The Spanish media is now hailing the move, with La Voz de Almeria today describing it as ‘the perfect transfer’ for Almeria. Taking the player for free and selling him for a relatively high figure is perfect business for the Spanish club.
The ex-Red Devils’ youngster is said to be ‘very happy’ about things right now. Almeria were looking to hand the forward a renewal but Leeds’ offer, as described by people close to Almeria’s president, was ‘magnificent’.
Cadena SER’s international football expert Bruno Alemany also spoke to La Voz de Almeria about the move and said Leeds is the ‘perfect destination’ for the winger.
He said: “They have a very good youth system and [it] is an important showcase. It is a competition in which the sporting directors are very attentive and they are well paid. In fact, Leeds pay very well, so it is a good and perfect destination for Largie Ramazani.”
Hopefully this is one of those transfers which work out perfectly for all involved.
