As has now been the case for over a week, the update on Viktor Gyökeres to Arsenal is largely that there is no update.
The weekend saw some drama as Manchester United were dragged back into the picture, and then it was reported the striker has actually been on a beach in Mallorca rather than in Stockholm, but there’s not been a great deal of material for The Daily Viktor Gyökeres.
Record have a report which claims Gyökeres’ agent has partly blocked a move to Manchester United because he’s annoyed at how Victor Lindelöf, another client of his, wasn’t offered a renewal at Old Trafford.
That would be a remarkably petty step if true.
