As you might have heard, Manchester United have let David De Gea go and are working to sign André Onana to replace him.

Gazzetta dello Sport now have an update on the situation, with it claimed that Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, wants the Cameroon international with him by ‘this weekend’.
The idea here is that he has his former Ajax Amsterdam star with so that he can go with the rest of the squad on tour to the United States.
Gazzetta speak about the negotiations as well, claiming that the gap between Inter Milan’s demands and Manchester United offer ‘is now thin’.
Regarding the when, it’s stated that ‘between Wednesday and Friday’, the negotiations ‘should be closed’ in order to fall within the desired timeframe.
The whole affair is said to be ‘in the final stages’, and therefore the aim is to close sometimes ‘mid-week’.
As things stand, Manchester United are expected to offer a fee that should exceed €50m with bonuses included, which they hope will be enough to get everything done and dusted.
