Fulham transfer target Malik Tillman
Fulham transfer target Malik Tillman

Fulham are chasing Bayer Leverkusen’s Malik Tillman ahead of the summer.

The attacking midfielder spent two years at PSV Eindhoven, after initially joining them on loan from Bayern Munich.

Last summer, the 23-year-old returned to Germany to join Bayer Leverkusen for €35m.  This move hasn’t worked out quite well and Fulham can offer him an escape route.

The Germany-born America international has scored eight goals and contributed one assist from 38 matches so far.

His league stats this season are as follows:

  • Appearances: 25
  • Starts: 17
  • Total minutes: 1,563
  • Minutes per game: 63
  • Goals: 6
  • Assists: 0
  • Expected Goals: 4.38
  • Expected Assists: 2.44
  • Big chances created: 7
  • Big chances missed: 5

Situation favours Fulham

Bild now report Malik Tillman is considering leaving the German club after this season.

When discussing suitors, Marco Silva’s side get a mention and are ‘tempting him’. It’s further claimed the London club ‘want to sign’ him and Brentford are also keen.

The two English clubs, who already showed interest in him in 2025, are willing to pay €35m to the Bundesliga side.

Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes is aware of the player’s frustration. The club bosses have faith in him and are looking to avoid a sale in the summer.

However, their only chance to retain him is Kasper Hjulmand is no longer in charge after this season. If the Dane were to continue, Tillman will push for a transfer, at the latest after the World Cup.

His situation in Germany clearly favours Fulham and other suitors. Although Silva’s side are keen, it needs to be seen whether any of them will make a concrete offer.

Contract, value and agent info

Two years ago, Sport Witness relayed news of his desire to make a switch to the Premier League. Fulham, the Bees or another top flight English club could fulfil his wish in the next window.

Malik Tillman has a contract until 2030 and Transfermarkt value him at €30m. The highest was €35m in October 2025.
