If Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has a trademark, that’s definitely his haircut. The 22-year-old has had the same style since he was a youngster at Sevilla, and that has always made it easy to identify him.
With the player being successful in his current loan spell at the Spanish club, the local media has many stories about him, and the latest of them is about his hair. That’s from El Desmarque, who managed to interview his hairdresser.
Since the loan from Tottenham, his spell has been good enough to convince kids to ask for his haircut. Now Ivan Rueda, who takes care of the player’s vanity, talks a little about it.
“Footballers create style. Kids look to their idols and Bryan is one of them,” Rueda told El Desmarque.
“They tell me to shave his hair. But he has his style and his personality, and I think he’s terrific.”
Bryan Gil is loaned to Sevilla until the end of the season, and his contract with Tottenham runs until 2026.
With so many things going on at Spurs in the coming months, it’s hard to tell whether the club will want to keep him for their next project or let him go for good.
Either way, the one constant will probably be his hair.
