Orel Mangala is open to leaving Nottingham Forest in the winter market, according to a report from Germany.

Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg took to X to state that the 25-year-old has attracted attention from a few clubs.

This includes Juventus, Napoli and Galatasaray, with the latter also making a ‘concrete offer’ for the Nottingham Forest player.

Sky Deutschland, through their website, have provided a few more details on this case. They add that the three clubs are making firm efforts to try and sign the midfielder this month.

It’s explained that discussions are ongoing for a permanent transfer involving the Belgium international, who can see himself leaving Nottingham Forest.

Mangala has made 18 league appearances this season and was a regular under Graham Potter. The latter was replaced by Nuno Espírito Santo last month.

The Belgian started in Nuno Espírito Santo’s first game against AFC Bournemouth, but was taken off after the first half. He was an unused substitute in the Tricky Trees’ win over Newcastle United and came off the bench late in the game against Manchester United.

It’s not clear if the recent omission could be why Mangala is open to leaving Nottingham Forest in January.
