Fanatik report Sivasspor are making attempts to sign Henri Saivet from Newcastle United.
Saivet spent the second half of last season on loan at Sivasspor where he enjoyed a good working relationship with the Turkish club’s manager Samet Aybaba.
After Aybaba left the club to join fellow Turkish League team Bursaspor, there were claims in the Turkish media that he wanted to work with Saivet again, this time at his new club.
However, Fanatik report Sivasspor’s new manager Tamer Tuna is also looking to work with Saivet, and he’s been impressed with the Newcastle United player’s performances last season.
According to Fanatik, negotiations between Sivasspor and Newcastle United are ongoing, with claims Newcastle United want €2m, it’s not made completely clear whether that’s for a loan or permanent move.
The Turkish newspaper say Tamer Tuna is waiting for a decision and he’s hoping he’ll have Saivet at his disposal before the start of the season.
