On Wednesday evening Sport Witness published an article about Leeds United wanting to keep control of transfer announcements.
Pierre-Michel Lasogga’s move to Leeds had been announced by Hamburg, with the club even wishing their high earner well at Elland Road, and the German club were then forced to backtrack.
Pawel Cibicki to Leeds United had been openly discussed by the Swedish attacker himself and Malmo, but things changed on Wednesday, with it not too hard to assume Leeds want things behind closed doors.
However, Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet may have ruined all that.

Aftonbladet have released a series of images which show Cibicki signing his Leeds United contract, accompanied by others including Victor Orta, and posing with the club’s shirt at Elland Road.
There can really be no backtracking from that. Cibicki to Leeds United is done, it’s out of the bag and it’s not going back in.
