Taylan Ertac, who’s acting as a middleman in Wilfried Bony’s proposed move to Galatasaray, has spoken to Radyospor about the latest developments with the Swansea City forward.
Bony has been linked with a move to Galatasaray in recent weeks but reports suggest he could be off to Qatar instead.
Speaking to Turkish Radio as covered by Ajansspor, Ertac confirmed no offer has yet been made by the Istanbul club, but the Swansea City player would be open to a move to the Super Lig: “We haven’t received an official offer for Bony, but my client would love to play in Turkey at this stage of his career. Swansea are also okay to let him leave for free. Let’s see what the future holds.”
Bony will be a free agent in the summer when his contract with the Championship side expires, but due to a lack of games this season he could look to move on before next week’s transfer deadline.
It’s been previously reported Swansea City are keen to get him off their wage bill due to his excessive salary, especially given he’s currently not in the plans of Swans boss Graham Potter.
The 30 year old was left out of the match day squad for the last game against Sheffield United.
