According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray are looking to sign Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Pascal Groß.
The German international has been linked with a move away from the Amex stadium this summer, with the player in his final year of his contract.
Yeni Asir report Groß is the latest central midfielder to be linked with Galatasaray as they look to strengthen this department. The Turkish champions will be competing in next seasons Champions League group stages and have been following a number of English based players in recent weeks.
It’s claimed Gala have already made an offer for the Brighton player as they look to take advantage of his contract situation with the Premier League side.
Yeni Asir say Groß is warm to the idea playing for Galatasaray and that he could arrive in Istanbul on loan or for a reasonable fee. That is doubtful to say the least.
It’s unlikely the Super Lig side could compete with other clubs said to be interested in Groß, following reports of a potential return to Germany and move to Eintracht Frankfurt.
There have also been claims in recent days Brighton are still hopeful of extending his contract beyond June 2025.
