According to A Spor’s Emre Bol, Fenerbahce are interested in signing Burnley goalkeeper Joe Hart.
This summer the Turkish club have already signed Ankaragucu youngster Altay Bayindir but Bol says the Super Lig club’s manager Ersun Yanal wants to sign an experienced goalkeeper to compete with the 20 year old.
He claims Hart has emerged as an option for Fener and that they are considering making an offer for the Burnley player before the Turkish transfer window closes at the end of this month.
The former Manchester City goalkeeper joined the Clarets last summer after the Premier League side suffered an injury crisis, but he lost his place to Tom Heaton during the second half of last season.
During the summer transfer window Burnley sold Heaton to Aston Villa and replaced him with Leeds United’s Bailey Peacock-Farrell. Sean Dyche started with Nick Pope last weekend against Southampton.
Hart still has one year left on his current contract with the Premier League side.
