Sunderland are in the picture to sign OGC Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bułka this summer.
On Wednesday, it was reported the Black Cats have made contact to sign the 25-year-old.

The Poland international is no longer represented by Pini Zahavi, has a year left on his contract, and his future is in doubt. He’s refused to sign an extension, meaning this window will be Nice’s last big chance to earn a decent fee.
Sunderland are set to appoint Florent Ghisolfi as their new sporting director and he was at Nice between 2022 and 2024. Ghisolfi knows Bułka from his time at the Ligue 1 club.
The English club have already contacted Nice, who have set a €20m asking price. The Pole has attracted interest from Galatasaray, and they are ready to meet the French club’s request. Leeds United are also in the picture to sign him.
According to L’Equipe, the player has received two offers from the clubs that have been promoted to the Premier League. Both Sunderland and Leeds will return to the top flight, along with Burnley, and would have tabled bids for him.
The player isn’t keen on joining Galatasaray or Leeds, but there’s no mention of Régis Le Bris’ side. This may give Sunderland an encouragement to secure his services.
