Schalke left backs Sead Kolasinac and Dennis Aogo have just one year left on their contracts at the Bundesliga club, and have been linked with a move to the Premier League this week.

Kolasinac has been linked with a move to West Ham, whilst Sunderland are ‘hot’ on Aogo, claims Bild.

Sunderland could face competition from Villarreal, who are also interested in the services of the 29-year-old. In response to the interest, Bild say Aogo is haggling over the details of a new contract.

Aogo, who has slipped in importance for Schalke manager Markus Weinzierl, doesn’t see his future at the Bundesliga club, and could be switching clubs.

The German defender made 30 appearances for the club in all competitions last season, but the arrival of Chelsea’s Baba Rahman could make things difficult for him this season.

He can also play as a defensive midfielder, but Bild say he’s only third choice there.
