Sunderland could be about to do a double deal for midfielders Salis Abdul Samed and Milan Aleksić.
That’s according to L’Equipe and Mozzart Sport, who both cover Sunderland’s efforts to get pair today.
A deal for Aleksić is more advanced at this stage, with Mozzart reporting that he has travelled for medical examinations with Sunderland.
They state that Sunderland have agreed a deal worth €3.7m with Radnicki 1923 for the 18-year-old midfielder. The Serbian side will also receive a percentage of a future sale for the youngster.
He’s already travelled to England for a medical and will sign a four-year deal with the Black Cats should he complete that as expected.
The transfer is a big deal for Radnicki, who have secured themselves a good figure and a percentage of a future sale should he continue to develop and shine. Indeed, the figure they’re receiving from Sunderland will make him the most expensive product of the Mozzart Bet Superliga this summer.
Radnicki had already received several offers for the player from the likes of Benfica, but it is Sunderland who have eventually pushed ahead and got him.
The interest in Lens midfielder Salis Abdul Samedi is less advanced, but Sunderland are negotiating for him, nonetheless.
L’Equipe report that the midfielder could be loaned to the Championship side, with the Black Cats advancing on a ‘dry loan’ for the Lens man.
A total agreement has not been reached as yet but negotiations between the two clubs are progressing positively and there is a feeling he will be heading abroad.
He had been targeted by Brest and Nantes also this summer, but it is Sunderland who are pushing ahead to get a deal done.
