Josip Juranović was one of the players arrived at Celtic in the summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old left Legia Warsaw and sealed a switch to Celtic Park on August 21st and days later, went on to make his debut in the Old Firm derby defeat against Rangers.

Ange Postecoglou started the Croatia international as a left-back against the Gers, even though his preferred position is on the right side of the defence.

After Celtic’s 1-0 loss at the hands of Rangers, Juranović joined the national team for the ongoing international break. He played the full 90 minutes as a right-back in Croatia’s goalless draw against Russia.

Friday’s edition of Vecernji List claim the fullback has had a tough 20 days behind him, which saw him play important Champions League qualifiers with Legia Warsaw, seal a switch to Celtic and represent his country.

The new Bhoys player has now commented about his move to the Scottish Premiership side.

“What can I say, I went a step further and I can’t wait to leave a mark at Celtic as I left in the Legia,” Juranović was quoted as saying by Vecernji List.

“As for the national team, it is a sacred jersey. When you train in it, there is no holding back, you go head to toe”
