Despite the recent rumours regarding the future of Brighton & Hove Albion starlet Julio Enciso, he may not be going anywhere this summer.
That’s reported by Fussball Transfers journalist Dimonik Schneider on Twitter.
It’s claimed that a move in this window is ‘no option’ for the Brighton forward. Firstly, because the Seagulls have no intention of selling him right now.
Then there’s also the player’s plan. Schneider claims that Enciso ‘wants to stay’, and his priority is to get more minutes to continue developing at the club.
The report still claims that ‘many’ Premier League clubs, as well as La Liga sides, have been showing interest in the Paraguayan player, despite how unlikely the summer move is.
This week, there’s been stories from the English media claiming Manchester City are interested in Enciso, with Pep Guardiola wanting to add him to his squad.
The player’s representative, however, spoke to the Paraguayan media and made it clear that he wants the youngster to keep his feet on the ground for now. That’s a stance which goes along with what Schneider is saying.
