Liverpool can easily beat Wolfsburg to the signing of Mohamed Amoura this season, with the Reds simply too big for the Germans to compete with.
That’s according to Kicker, who cover the potential interest from Liverpool in the Union SG striker this summer.
Amoura has been earning a growing list of admirers this season after managing 23 goals and seven assists in 45 games in Belgium since arriving from FC Lugano in the summer.
A number of clubs are looking at a potential deal for him in the summer and Kicker report that Wolfsburg are one of them, throwing their hat into the ring early ahead of the potential race for his signature.
They’re not the only interested party, though, and they know there is ‘wealthy competition’ from the Premier League and Liverpool in particular.
They know that they would certainly not be the favourite in that particular battle, with the lure of Liverpool, Anfield and presumably the money available in the Premier League all likely to prove hard to beat in any courtship of the striker.
It’s all hypothetical at this point as nobody appears to have made the first move yet, but if Liverpool involve themselves, it seems there is a feeling they can easily win any battle.
