Earlier this week, we covered claims from Italy which stated Everton are ready to make an offer for Hellas Verona’s Jackson Tchatchoua.

The right-back made 27 appearances last season, and his performances seem to have caught the Toffees’ attention.

That’s according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà, who provides more on Everton and the Serie A side’s stance on the 22-year-old.

He adds the Cameroon international is on the radar of several clubs, and among these, Sean Dyche’s side have followed him more closely than others.

Pedullà claims an intermediary has presented an offer, likely from Everton, but Hellas Verona haven’t received any proposal so far. They value the fullback at €10m, and are awaiting to receive bids around this figure.

Hellas Verona have made the player’s stay permanent, after signing him on a loan deal from Belgian side Charleroi in August 2023.

On Friday, Gazzetta dello Sport reported West Ham United are set to rival Everton in the race for the defender.

Sport Mediaset now state the Premier League duo are interested in Tchatchoua, valued at €8m, which is €2m less than the price quoted by Pedullà.

They add Hellas Verona and Tchatchoua will ‘carefully evaluate’ offers they will receive for him, indicating that they both are ready for a transfer this summer.
