Leeds United are ‘currently the favourite’ to sign SD Huesca’s Javi Galán, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Atlético Madrid and Sevilla, along with the Whites, have the left-back on their radar for this summer.

It’s not a priority for the La Liga winners to strengthen the left side of their defence, but that’s not stopped them from knocking on the 26-year-old’s door.

With a year left on his contract, the newspaper backs Galán to be ‘one of the bargains of the summer’.

That’s because his release clause has dropped to €4m after his club were relegated from the top flight.

Mundo states ‘there is no doubt that Galán will leave Huesca this summer’, mainly due to his buyout clause and his qualities.

Apart from Atlético and Sevilla, ‘there is a strong interest from Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds’, who are favourites to land the player.

Over at AS, they state Galán’s future is ‘closer to Leeds than Sevilla’.

Leeds United’s interest in Galán has already been reported in Spain and earlier this month, Radio Huesca explained the Premier League side are ‘willing to shell out a larger amount’ than Sevilla to secure Galán’s signature.
