Loic Remy L'Equipe August 18thLoic Remy is facing an uncertain future at Chelsea as he doesn’t seem to be a part of Antonio Conte’s plans for the season.

The 29-year-old has been linked to his former clubs in France, but the player is apparently keen on staying in London, reports L’Equipe on Thursday.

Remy has accepted that he doesn’t have a future at Chelsea, and is now carefully evaluating his options.

Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing Remy as Alan Pardew has already worked with Remy at Newcastle. L’Equipe say Pardew appreciates the versatility of Remy, but could face competition from Everton, who have enquired for his services.

Remy, however, would prefer a move to Crystal Palace as he wants to stay in London and could also feature regularly for Alan Pardew’s team. L’Equipe believe a loan deal with an option to buy is the most likely option, but it remains to be seen if Chelsea would agree to that.

Remy has another couple of years left on his contract, and has another two weeks to decide his future.

Palace signing Remy would mean they’ve given up Liverpool’s Chritisn Benteke, perhaps frustrated with the demands coming from Anfield. Everything on every aspect of this could change over the next few days, and it may make Liverpool reevaluate what they’re asking for Benteke.
